What counts as one 'render'?
One POST /v1/jobs call = one render. PPTX or PDF, 1 slide or 100, it counts as one.
What happens when I exceed the quota?
API and UI both return HTTP 402. Upgrade on the billing page and you can keep going immediately.
What payment methods do you accept?
Stripe handles all major global cards (Visa/Master/Amex). Billing is in USD; your card issuer applies its usual FX conversion if your card is in a different currency.
Can I get a tax invoice?
All plans currently receive a Stripe credit-card receipt that works for most accounting workflows. Country-specific tax invoice formats (e.g. Korean 세금계산서) are not yet supported — email us if it's a blocker.
Annual discount?
Annual billing for Starter and Pro gives roughly 2 months free (≈17–20% off). The toggle on this page reflects the effective monthly rate.
Where is my data stored?
Default region is Google Cloud (Firebase) asia-northeast3 (Seoul). Custom-region requests are reviewed case by case.
How long are templates and outputs kept?
Templates stay until you delete them. Generated outputs auto-delete after 7 days by default.
Do you have ISMS-P or SOC 2 certification?
Not currently. babbage is a small, focused team and we don't hold security certifications today. If your procurement requires one, email us — we'll be honest about what we can and can't supply.

When do plan changes apply?
Upgrade is immediate (prorated). Downgrade applies at the start of the next billing cycle.
