Refund Policy

Article 1 · Subscription billing model

babbage is a subscription billed monthly. Payments are processed through Stripe, and the plan's monthly quota becomes available immediately upon payment.

Article 2 · Full-refund window

A full refund is available when all of these conditions are met:

  • Within 7 days of first payment
  • No rendering job has been executed in the current cycle
  • No API key has been issued or used in the current cycle

Article 3 · Non-refundable cases

  • More than 7 days after first payment
  • Any rendering job or API key usage in the current cycle (digital content deemed partially consumed)
  • Automatic renewals from the second cycle (cancel applies from the next cycle)

Article 4 · Cancellation

Members may cancel anytime via the Stripe Customer Portal on the billing page. No further charges occur from the next cycle, and the current cycle remains usable until its end.

Article 5 · Plan changes

  • Upgrade: applies immediately. Prorated charge appears on the next invoice.
  • Downgrade: applies at the start of the next billing cycle.

Article 6 · Failed payments

On a failed recurring charge, the Company notifies by email and Stripe retries automatically. If unresolved within a set period, the subscription is canceled and the account moves to Free.

Article 7 · Refund for downtime

If a confirmed service outage prevents normal use, the Company may refund the prorated amount. Submit evidence to the contact below.

Article 8 · Refund procedure

  1. Send refund requests to babbage@owlgcorp.com with your sign-up email and payment identifier (or Stripe receipt number).
  2. We review and respond within 3 business days.
  3. Approved refunds return via the original payment method, taking 5–10 business days per card-issuer policy.
